I started my fitness journey before entering Kindergarten when I would exercise watching the Jack LaLanne's exercise show on TV every morning after Captain Kangaroo and Romper Room. In high school, I continued to excel in sports leading my basketball team to state, being named to the 1st Annual All-Star Basketball team and competing at the state track meet in the mile run. I went on to earn my bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health from The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. After college I continued running, competing in local running races at various distances. To this date, I have completed 36 marathons and counting. My desire to conquer new physical challenges continues as I am currently working towards earning a Blackbelt in Karate.Along with personal training, I currently work full-time teaching elementary age children about fitness and sports. Beside my personal training certification, I have a specialty training certificate for training seniors.
