Sharon Marie Madsen-- I have a lifelong interest in fitness, studied ballet from age 6 and performed with my local studio throughout my 20s and 30s. I was a freelance illustrator and changed career paths in my late 40s when I attended National Personal Training Institute. From there I started training in clinical weight loss and started my bodybuilding career. I earned my pro card in Masters Figure in 2013 and continue to compete to this day in drug tested natural bodybuilding organizations. Fitness is truly a lifestyle for me and I want to help clients make it a part of their lives as well.

Training Philosophy:
My goal is to set myself apart as a Coach, not just a trainer, and educate you in nutrition, proper exercise form, managing sleep and stress by building a program that takes into account not only your goal, but your health history and your lifestyle. I want to empower you with the skills to achieve your physical goals which translates to success in all areas of your life. I grew up dancing since age 6, ballet, jazz and pointe. After age 40 and experiencing pre-menopause hormone fluctuations and weight gain, I discovered resistance training and the transformative effect it had on my physique. This ignited my passion to share the benefits of resistance training --maintaining lean muscle mass, protecting bone health AND increasing metabolic rate. As an independent trainer I have worked in weight loss clinic and studio settings, as well as my own private studio. I use Precision Nutrition’s system of habit change coaching to help each of my clients stay accountable to their fitness and weight loss goals.
